Rumbi Island Grill

The good: Ok first of all fantastic food as usual! I enjoy Rumbi quite a bit and usually visit at least a couple times a month. Good place for something different and tasty. I get coupons in the mail and it makes it quite a bit more affordable. Staff was polite and welcoming and the restaurant was mostly clean. The bad: I love their strawberry lemonade and it's a good part of the reason I go here. However it's pretty rare that I actually get it. The machine is frequently broken, empty, or otherwise not available. The other thing that really bothered me was that they refused to honor an advertised special which was three bottles of their signature sauce for $15.50 (see photo). I pointed right at the sign in their store and I was told the price went up and it was the regular $5.99 a bottle. The kid at the counter said he would "get right on it" about the taking the ad down and previously told me the same thing about the getting me some lemonade. Neither happened as he was in too much of a hurry to get back to staring at his cell phone. All in all it's a good place to eat but they should really step it up on the customer experience side of things

They got the sandwiches again!!! I love their grilled chicken sandwich with pineapple and red onion and rumbi fries. They also do a pulled pork and tritip one. Mondays and Tuesdays kids eat free with an adult entree. They have chicken nuggets,AC and cheese, chicken tenders, and an orange chicken option. It comes with a drink. My personal fav are the fish tacos. Super yummy.

Kayden is the best customer service rep, he made my first visit to Rumbi's spectacular by going above and beyond on my family's to-go order when we walked in minutes from close on a Saturday. I wish I'd had cash to give him a massive tip, I hope you treat him well and give him a raise because he elevated a 3 star meal to a 5 star experience.

I was a BIG time customer, coming here when enough to rack up over $300 in MobileBite credits (over $3000) on meals over a couple years. Considering the amount I spend I’m part of pretty much every award program they have. Well summer is over, sales were not great this time, school is back in session and money is VERY tight so I was using the MB credit I racked up. It’s supposed to work like a gift card but their new manager Lucy decided as of today to place an arbitrary limit on how much credit I can apply at once. I have to choose between a meal for me or my gf, because the credit I spent thousands to receive can’t be used unless I spend X amount Lucy decides, this policy is written nowhere. I highly recommend Rumbi’s, just not this one. I went down the street to the one in AF and had zero issues.
